I was wondering what shoe sole inserts would be best to buy for me in my running shoes?

What can I do next?

I tried using arch supports years ago. I found that at first they did make my shoes a lot more comfortable but ..... as your feet swell during the day the suppoorts take up space in the toe box and by the end of the day the tops or my toes would rub on the inside of my shoes. OOOO PAIN ---- FOOT CRAMPS. Sometimes my legs would cramp too.

Better off with running shoes to get a pair that fits and supports your foot. I recommend Soucony (pronouced soc con knee) I may have misspelled it. but they are great shoes. But don't listen to what anyone says -- try on several different brands and types and make sure they fit --be sure you are wearing the socks you would normally wear with the shoes.

Are your shoes new? Do you need to replace them? Everyone swears by Asics-especially easy on the knees. In the meantime-rub castor oil on your feet and wear socks to bed-that will help with the pain-and your feet will look spectacular!

If you are actually running in running shoes, you're probably better off getting a pair that supports YOUR foot better than trying to shove other stuff in there.

Go to a real running store (not a big sporting goods store) and have them look at your feet, recommend shoes, have you walk around in them etc.

Every shoe works for SOMEONE, so taking recommendations isn't the best way to go.

If you're set on getting inserts, there are a couple of brands that make various thicknesses and strengths depending on the activity. And I think Dr. Scholls has that machine you stand on and it recommends an insert. Both of those options would be better than taking our recommendations.
