If all else fails, try some of the old natural remedies.
Johnson and Johnson's Baby LOTION mixed with spearmint oil and eucalyptus oil, about 5 drops each to 1 oz of lotion. Mix well and use for 3 days. You'll definitely see an improvement. (you can google the different oils to find a supplier). Wear nothing but cotton socks until they are completely healed. Make sure they are WHITE only - the dyes can get into the cracks in your feet and cause infection.
A pumice stone helps but with some people it's not beneficial. I know when I use the stone in the shower after my heels are softened, I tend to take off more than I should and can't wear my shoes the next day. Same goes for a heel razor. Be careful that you don't shave too much skin off or you'll regret it the next day.
DO NOT USE THE OIL CONCOCTION IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES TO GRASS or eucalyptus! Experiment with the mixture! This mix is very soothing but I wouldn't use it on my face (of course, I have roscea so just about everything works in opposite on my face.)
