I've never done this before, but maybe try going to one of those career centers that places people in jobs. You can tell them what you are looking for and maybe they can find something that will be a good match. If someone else on here has tried a place like this, perhaps they can say how their experience was. My friend who was a SAHM for 10 years got an HR job for a local science research company. She works 9-4 and gets home about the same time as her kids (they ride the bus). She never did this before but it is going well. Another friend started teaching exercise classes at the YMCA and now teaches quite a lot of classes. A third friend started working in the bakery of the local grocery store and now she and another woman have teamed up and started a very successful catering business. They also offer cooking classes (her background before being a SAHM was a pastry chef). I applied for and got a part time job updating a company's website. They taught me how to use their website software and now I also write articles for them, press releases, put up publications, and I do editing. I'm just trying to give you some ideas. Think outside the box...look around where you live and think about all the different things you can do.
