A.G.
I do this with almost every cartoon. Is it just me or does anyone else want to put "Gerald" (from sid the science kid ) in the corner?
hes so disruptive!!
If you have a young child you probably know what I am talking about.
Duck - He seems to be the product of a poor upbringing. He lives in a nest not a house or anything really similar to a house, like the rest of them. He also seems to be the most uneducated one.
Frog- He's a slum lord. He lives in a nice uptown log while he makes the bugs live in the mailbox.
Sheep - She's the token crazy person. She spends most of her time pretending to be something else.
Bear - She's the survivalist. You don't see her often and she lives in a cave. I think that if there really was a zombie uprising she would be the one to survive.
Pig - He's the middle class average guy, however I think he might be a closet bulimic. I mean he eats all the time, and all this junk food and never gains any weight.
Dog - He's God in Word World. Think about it....he is the one that creates the others in the beginning of the show. He lives in the biggest house. He doesn't actually talk so he sometimes is misunderstood...and what do you get when you spell dog backwards? Case closed
I think I watch this show too much and have completely over analyzed this, what do you think?
Sandy: I have seen that show, and I ALWAYS think that! I mean she just says Yeah go ahead and go to east Africa with that talking cat. :)

these responses gave me a good laugh...
as for the Cat, I agree that the mom thinks they are joking and that the cat doesn't exist. the other day, after I said "no" to my daughter about something, she said, "but on cat in the hat, the mom also says 'yes, you can go to wherever'" she noticed that they are allowed to go anywhere!
Your post reminded me of this blog from Stark.Raving.Mad.Mommy--Funny!

I LOVE this show I did think Sheep represents the child's imagination, and I always thought that Duck is stupid or a very slow learner, def has a learning disablity. So I guess I cant say "You have too much time on your hands to think about this!!" Watch "The cat in the Hat knows a lot About That" your child will learn about science but you will wonder Does that mother even CARE about her kids???
Haha! This is funny! My daughter likes Word World too and although I allow her to watch it, I think it's kinda weird!! ;) And she also loves Cat in the Hat and the mom is totally way too trusting of that damn cat! ;)
They put grown up things like that in all the kid shows. Now that you have noticed, watch the different shows and see what they are "really" trying to say.
Ha. You watch WAAAAY too much Word World. Take a break and turn on Super Why or Garfield, or an actual adult show. :) But next time I watch Word World, I will watch it in a whole new way. Thanks.
I can't say I've watched Word World...I guess I will have to TiVo it to see what you are talking about...
i've always had the Dog/God thing down...man's best friend....case closed! :)
Oh my word.
Interesting.
How about "Alice in Wonderland" from our youth? Hmmmm
Somebody smoking a funny pipe, mushrooms, shrinking, small tiny door
etc.
