Feeding Schedule for 11 Month Old

So my daughter finally has some teeth-4 to be exact. Anyways, she is eating just about most regular table food. Not much meat though, because she still gags & chokes on that a lot. I have also begun introducing her to whole milk. Not much, only about 2oz each time, 1-2 times a day. She is still eating formula, but we advanced her to the toddler style, for 10-24 months. My question is...how is or was your little one's feeding schedule at that time?? How much formula? What kind of meals and snacks? Just looking for opinions, and more variety for her!
Thanks in advance!!

My kids were on a regular schedule of 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. I think it's fine to introduce whole milk, she's almost a year. We gave my kids milk/formula with their meals and sometimes at snacks. At snack we tried to offer water. We also gave a night time cup of formula too. Usually they were about 6-8oz at a time. They ate the same things we ate for meals and were only using cups, not bottles at 11 months. For snacks the favorites were Goldfish, veggie booty, cheese, fruit, cereal bars, etc. It sounds like you're on a good schedule so far, do what works. I find that nearing that 12 month mark really makes things so much easier!

My 12 month old has 8 teeth and he's mostly breastfeeding. He eats rice cereal with rice milk once or twice a day. He hates solid food. My others mostly breastfed the first year and then transitioned slowly into solid foods. My others like foods better than my son now. I never gave my kids milk. It made them sick for me to have dairy while breastfeeding them and none of mine tolerated it. My two oldest were eating regular food that we ate, I just blended them a little in a food processor. Meat, veggies and rice etc. by this age. =) My children who got teeth later ate sooner. My children who got teeth very young, didn't eat solids until later... go figure! =) Anyway, I still breastfeed about 6 times a day, maybe even more and he's in the 75 percentile...LOL Good luck!!

My 11 mo old daughter still nurses throughout the day (early am, after breakfast for a nap, before lunch, before afternoon nap, after dinner, and at bedtime...and once during the night.)

She eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner, although the amount really varies. She'll eat a lot of Chex for breakfast, and a few sips of rice milk, some deli lunch meat (turkey, chicken, roast beef) ripped into tiny shreds for lunch with some baby food veggies and more chex (she doesn't have any teeth) and for dinner, usually soft cooked veggies and more chex, and a cup of water. She has Celiac and milk allergy, so I think she'd eat more if there was more I could give her...but with the no teeth and the restrictions, it's been weird.

If you want to encourage meat, try the lunch meat. I personally go to the deli case and buy Hormel lunch meat, usually honey turkey or mesquite chicken or a prime cut roast beef, and I only buy a few slices at a time. I tear it into tiny pieces so she won't choke, and she loves it. She also likes tuna, but I only give it to her maybe twice a month.

I know good snacks can include toasted bagels, yogurt, small pieces of cheese, soft fruits, crackers, rice rusks, cereal, etc.

They eat when you eat and snacks in between. I'd say formula in the morning with breakfast and maybe two other times during the day, if that and water and juice in between, with whole milk as well. By 12 months, you can stop using formula altogether and switch to whole milk. It's good to introduce other things to eat/drink and not stick with just one thing to drink all day.

As for snacks, cut pieces of cheese, cheerios, raisins, yogurt. Gerber has a line of "snacks," though I didn't rely on the all the time, they are good in a pinch. Cut up pieces of fruit, cottage cheese and fruit cocktail is good, if she likes cottage cheese...it's soft and healthy. Do you have a food mill or food processor? You could grind up her meats. My kiddos had a bad time with meats for the longest time. I used to grind it up and mix with other foods on their plate. And for dinner, whatever you eat, just grind it up and feed it to her. Breakfast, you can do oatmeal (not the baby variety but Quaker oatmeal that cooks up in a minute or so). Pancakes, french toast cut up small. I use a pizza cutter to cut pancakes and french toast and even works great on grilled cheese sandwiches....makes them into tiny small squares very easily!
