Hello mommies,

Does anybody have any feedback on lifetime fitness in Garland?? I'm ready to lose weight (25pounds) and now that my daughter is in school I want to really start taking care of myself as before, I should have done this a long time ago.

Anyways, I would love to hear stories about the gym in general. how much is the membership how good are the aerobic/step classes how clean is the gym and any other information you would like to share.

I didn't have a good experience when I visited Ladies of America, they were a pest and wouldn't talk about prices until they had given me a looooong boring speech and showed me the whole gym. I'm really hoping this gym is great, I'm very impressed with their webpage it looks great, I hope in person is the same thing.

Thank you mommies!!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

##UPDATE##
I did register last week and I have to say this gym is absolutely great. My daughter loves the playground, pools, and everything. I love the aerobic classes, step classes, the lap pools, I haven't missed a day yet. I'm so happy I registered, it's so worth the money.
Thank you all for the positive feedback it def made my decision easier and I don't regret it one bit!

Thank you mommies for the feedback, I did call and they gave me the prices over the phone which is great because I get to decide to join or not in the comfort of my home. I thought the price (54 per month plus a start-up fee) was a bit pricey but the quality of the gym is higher than others I've seen.
The playroom for kids looks great and I'm sure my daughter would have no problem staying there during workouts. If everything works out I would be starting at the end of the month.
Thanks again! it's always great to count on this site for honest feedback.

PMP, I don't know first hand about the Lifetime in Garland but the one in Allen/McKinney is wonderful. I am up there everyday. They also have a great "Children's Club" so if you can't make it while your little one is in school you can take her with. They have computers and jungle gyms and just a whole bunch of things to do in there. My little girl loves it. I would almost positively bet that they're all that first class. Good Luck. Email me if you have any questions...

I am a memeber of Lifetime Fitness and have been to three of their locations (McKinney/Allen, Plano and Garland). They are all very similar. The childcare is great for older kids. For infants, it's not bad, but is usually booked well in advance. I have not been in the classes in Garland, but all should be fairly similar. It's always clean, always nice. There are a lot of extras (spa, small cafe, basketball, rockclimbing in some).

It's a little pricey, but depending on how often you use it, it might be worthwhile to you. There are different prices for different options also. You should be able to call and ask for their rates. I did and they gave them to me over the phone.

Most people are don't know this, but you can make appointments at their spa without being a member.

Hey there.. I don't know much about lifetime, except they are expensive.. I am a member of L.A Fitness and I love it!! They have a kids club so when school is out and you want to go to the gym, you can take your daughter and let her play in the kids club.. I have a 3 year old and he likes it.. They are cheaper than Lifetime, way cheaper...
Hope this helps you...
Take care...
