Well, Christmas is barely over and I'm looking for birthday gift ideas for my son for March. So...I was wondering what YOUR son's favorite Christmas gift was this year, so I can get ideas for my son's birthday. He'll be 7.

What can I do next?

Hey Denise, my 7 year old also loves legos. He got a DS christmas and also loves that. The game I Spy is great for all ages, we have played it with various family members and we have all enjoyed it.Any outside activites such as a soccer ball would also be good.

my oldest just turned 7 a few days before Christmas...and Legos were high on his wish list!!! Legos star wars, legos city, legos agents, lego pirates...all were big hits!! I also got him a leapfrog Didj. It is a hanheld gaming system (star wars games, indiana jones, etc)...BUT you can actually link it to your PC and download his spelling words for the week, or math problems....and he will need to "solve them" before going to the next level. You can also track his progres online. Makes studing for his weekly spelling test a little easier :)

Definitely Legos. At 7 that was all my son wanted to play. He especially loved the Star Wars series. If he is new to Legos you may have to do them with him until he gets the hang of it. I love Legos too-they are an excellent educational toy for the kids. Teaches following directions, dexterity and so much more. They are expensive but worth it IMO.

Anything Star Wars!

Anything Hot Wheels!

My son also loves castles and knights...and army men and airplanes...he can sit for hours playing by himself setting up "battles".

The DS' are pretty cool if he doesn't already have O..
