Tonight I'm making spicy chilli and cornbread. When it's cold I love anyhting spicy, or hot and bubbly and cheesey out of the oven, casseroles, and baked goods, banana bread, cinnamon rolls, corn bead. I love to warm the house with the smell of something in the oven. What's your favorite cold weather recipe or food idea.
White Chicken Chili! Have it almost once a week. I LOVE baked goods too-but I am an addict and cannot be around them without losing all good sense so I don't make them :-(
Red beans with sausage, cornbread.

I make pasta fagioli in the crock pot. It is a great itailian soup. Let me know and I will email you the recipe it is very easy

When its cold out...i luv to ask my mother to make sum caldo...she makes the best caldo de pollo "chicken soup" & the best caldo de res "beef soup" with homemade corn tortillas...she also makes great menudo (= and for something sweet she makes bunelos "flour tortillas fried then topped wit cinnamon" and homemade hot chocolate!

I made Beef Stew and cornbread tonight. One of our favorite cold weather foods. I made chili last night and a pot roast the night before. here in Illinois we have had 3 days of blizzardy cold weather. so comfort food it is lol
