I watched that movie as well and my husband and I got inspired to try a juice fast the next day. We decided to just try it for 4 days. I just finished the 4 day juice fast yesterday. I liked the fact that it felt like I was cleansing my body. Since breaking the fast yesterday - I've really only begun eating fresh fruits and vegetables since I feel like I've cleaned out my system and I don't want to "ruin" the fast by eating junk. So the fast may help to just get you on a healthy food kick.
In the mornings I would make some sort of fruit juice in the juicer...like watermelon, mint, stawberry, lime (just a squeeze). In the afternoon we'd do a lettuce/kale, cucumber, celery, apple, pear, lemon and ginger. I also really liked the beet, carrot, apple, and grape combo...I found lots of recipes on-line from youtube. It was called 101 juice fast recipes. Hope that helps...and I say try it for a few days and maybe it kicks you into healthier food habits as well!
