I have some hairs on my chin I would like to get rid of, and have tried electrolysis (sp?), but it left some chicken pox-like scars and it took forever for my skin to heal. Has anyone tried the new Rx cream for facial hair?

Oh my goodness, you have got to get laser hair removal! It is the only way to go. I tried everything in the past - waxing, electrolysis, & Nair. They lasted all of a week and then the hair started growing back already. Laser hair removal is permanent! I went to Smooth Solutions in Lewisville (there is also a Plano location), and they are great! I did my bikini line as well as a few hairs on my chin. They are the most reasonably priced of all the laser hair removal places out there, too. Each month, they have specials, and I know they have chin specials. Just call and ask. Even if you missed their chin special, it is still affordable. Hope this helps!

I haven't tried the cream, but I do go to Styles of India for "threading" to have my facial hair removed. It works very well and didn't leave any marks on my face like waxing did.

They have locations all over, they're on the web and I've gone to then one in Irving. Grapevine Mills Mall has kiosks with "threaders" there.

It works well, lasts about 6 weeks. Maybe that and the cream would stretch it out.

I actually participated in a trial of this cream when I worked at a derm office-it works well, but I got some really bad zits from it. I am very prone to acne so I assumed it was me rather than the cream-Go ahead and give it a try!!

My sister, Mom and Grandmother all had that problem. They just got tweezers and yanked them out. :) After doing it for some time, they now have no more hair since they pulled out the hair follicles. They said yes it was slightly painful but it was out and over with. This is probably not what you wanted to hear.

What do you teach at TWU? I teach there part-time, too.

I have used Vaniqua and it works very well. Just use it every night before bed and the hair growth will be eliminated. If you stop, the hair does return. Just keep using the cream and you will like the results.
