Facial Hair During Pregnancy and What to Do

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I have noticed this time around I'm getting peach fuzz type hair on lower cheeks, chins, and upper part of my neck..it's fine blonde baby hair but it's driving me crazy! Do I attempt to wax it or will it fall out once the baby is born? I'm sure it's just hormonal but is this a permanent thing?

What can I do next?

Once one waxes, the hair grows in stronger and more stubbly so you have to keep it up. Since hair grows thicker in pregnancy, I'd be confident it will go away after the birth of the baby. Just don't look in the mirror! (I don't have a full length mirror in the house so I don't worry about my size.)

I think that is caused by too much testosterone.

Do not take zinc (zinc prevents testosterone from converting to estrogen)

Hello B.:

It's possible that your hormones were out of balance prior to pregnancy, so now with the pregnancy it has escalated. The hair will most likely be there post pregnancy. You can address the hormonal challenge with natural healthcare options. It does not have to be a permanent thing.

don't wax it. don't pluck it. that will mess w/the root and then you'll always have problems. its just hormonal. i'm sure it will go away. I got those red dot freckles all over my body and most of those went away, just like skin tags. Don't worry. I think i had to bleach under my nose but got better afterwards.

if it's blond you could just try getting those little woman shavers. They are battery operated and they just trim the hair right to the skin but because it's not like a razor you won't get a shadow or have harsh stubble. And then your not messing with the root so once your hormones settle down again the hair will probably go away.

I have a weird theory aboutthat. I had it too..it went away but it was still annoying and ugly. I have dark hair so it was pretty darn noticeable. I shaved it (don't laugh) coz I got tired of looking like I was growing a beard
