I need some serious suggestions on the best eyeliner out there to use! I have been using all of the Clinique brand eyeliners (big fan of clinique.). However, lately my eyeliner is smudged and looks horrible after only a couple hours. I put eyeliner on at 7:00 this morning and it's 9:00 am now, and I've already had to wipe my eye down because the eyeliner had smudged terribly. This is an almost everyday occurance. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best smudge-free, waterproof eyeliner that actually works and stays on all day. At this point I really don't care how much. I just want something that works. Thanks!

Try Motives.
I just met with a make up artist who is going to carry this line in her salon. The first thing she wanted to see was a lip liner and an eye liner and smudging was the first test she did. She used the line on all the girls one night before they went out to a concert and she said it lasted all night long. I wear it to so I know it last but it's good to hear from a make up artist too.
Another thing you can try is using eyeshadow then setting it with a creme eyeshadow on top. The 2 together make it waterproof.
Here's a site where you can look at the make up line. If you have any more questions let me know. I work with many make up artists and learn lots of tricks and tips along the way.

I use Glimmersticks waterproof eyeliner from Avon and it is THE best as far as I'm concerned. I've been using it for years and it never smudges. And best of all it's only around $3.00-4.00.
I use Mary Kay and have never had a problem with smudging. It costs about $10 a stick (which lasts me a good 9 months or more)! Every year they win the best cosmetics award, so I figure they must be doing something right! Hope this helps! :)
I use both Lancome and MAC and am happy with both. However, I still need to touch up around 3 or 4pm if I'm leaving work and going somewhere besides home.

Mary Kay offers an eyeliner that's waterproof, lasts all day, it's good for sensitive eyes or if you wear contacts. And, of course, you have multiple colors to choose from.
They also offers a liquid eyeliner that's water resistant. Please visit my site at www.marykay.com/adix or call me at ###-###-####.

De-Crease by L'Oreal. I put my eye makeup on at 6 am and it still looks good at 8 pm. It is truely the best stuff ever made. And I wear makeup every day and have for many years.
I work for a dept. store that sells Clinique. Knowing that I don't have a whole lot of money, one of the girls taught me a cool trick: Use a fine eye-shadow tip applicator and apply a darker eye shadow as your eye liner. If you use a neutral liquid base your eye makup will stay on all day. It looks good and the possiblities are endless.
I used to work for Clinique and have tried many brands of makeup. However, Clinique is still my very favorite for eyeliner! The quickliner and the water-resistant pencil (with the shimmery shades) stay on the best. Really what you would need to do is put a concealer/base on your eyes first, then set it with a powder. Then once you have put on your eyeliner put some eyeshadow on top of it. (You can match the color or do some different colors and make some really neat looks because many eyeshadows become intensified over eyeliner.) My Clinique eyeliner stays on ALL day when I do this. Good luck and have fun playing around with the different color combos!
Wow! Lots of responses, kind of overwhelming. I had the same problem, and found that Revlon Colorstay is great and inexpensive. Sounds like you are going to have lots of fun trying new stuff!
Mally cosmetics has a waterproof eyeliner that is perfect. I was having the same issues. I bought it on QVC or HSN, can't remember, but I love it. The eyeshadow stick is awesome too. I never wore it before because it wouldn't stay.
I use the Revlon Matte eyeliner, but must say when I put foundation on i cover my lashes aswell I use the L'Oreal infallible creamy powder foundation then I apply the eyeliner not on the inside but outside, when my make up is done I dust a little with translucent powder, it works for me try it
Nicole Miller has a really great line of cosmetics and I get 40% of retail prices. Let me know if you’re interested. Good luck beautiful mama!
GLIMMERSTICKS Waterproof Eye Liner! They are 3 for $8.99 right now and you can shop at www.beautyadvisor.us and enter code FSANY for free shipping on any size order. After applying, dot with face powder to set and avoid any smudging.
I am a Clinique fan as well. However, I found a really nice thin line eyeliner for my eyelids at Lancome. I bought it on line.
Well... Eyeliner is made up of mostly oil. As your skin, outside temperature and humidity warm it up, it will melt.
Most make-up artists recommend using a fine eye shadow brush and lightly adding a layer of matching powder eye-shadow to your eyeliner. The powder should help keep the eyeliner from melting and will help it "stick".
I had issues with eyeliner pencils so I switched to liquid eyeliner, doesn't move till I wash off at night. Maybeline to Dior they are all the same except for price.
Ruby & Miller (£9.50 from Boots)
I have to agree with another poster, I wear Mary Kay Eyeliner! Its the only product I buy from them because the rest can run u alot of money unless u hold a party!. I use the roll up pencil and never have a probelm with it. U know how some eyeliner iretacts (sp) your eyes if u don't take it off before going to bed, well this doesn't! I have done it many of times after a long night out and just want my bed lol....but I do recommend! Also after holding a party 7yrs ago or so, I also found out I was wearing the wrong shades of make-up, so that helped. Good Luck....God will Mary-Kay, just go on their web site and by from there or find a rep, some of them carry products on them and it isnt to expensive for the eyeliner and it last for along time...
I second the AVON glimmerstick's! They are very good, and very resonably priced. I am not just saying that because i sell it, but i really do love all their products. Lots of times they have great deals like 2 for $7.99, and you can choose from eyeliner and a mascara!

I hope you find the right one just for you! Good luck!
Mary Kay or Maybelline liquid eyeliner are my favorites. I also use Mary Kay eye primer before applying eye makeup.
My vote goes to Mary Kay. I have been using it since I was in 8th grade & I would not buy anything else. Also, it may help to use an eye primer. It is fairly new & I think mainly to keep your shadow on all day, but may help with the liner as well.
Rimmel wet n dry eye pencil! BRILLIANT,but i cant find it anywre anymore. good luck if u can find it.
I have used colorstay by Revlon for years and it lasts for a long time. Sometimes its still on in the morning (if I forget to take it off at night)! I have also used some liquid eyeliners (maybeline, cover girl) that stay on great too, as long as you let them dry before opening your eye!
Good luck!
