I tried skin care with Beauticontrol about three years ago and I was sold. I love their Eye X-el moisturizer (I think that's the right name). I also really like the new Tight, Firm and Fill Eye Serum they came out with. www.beauticontrol.com to see what they have.
Now when I'm broke, I use the Lacura moisturizer and eye repair creme from Aldi. Believe it or not, it works really well for as cheap as it is. I picked some up just on a lark and figured I wasn't wasting much money if it didn't work, but I was pleasantly surprised. The moisturizer is great for as inexpensive as it is.
Love Beauticontrol though. The only skin care I've ever used that controls my acne. The only makeup I've ever used that is easy to put on and stays put. I'll wear it from 6:30 in the morning until bedtime and it's still hanging in there well.
Try the wet/dry compact foundation...great stuff....apply with a foundation brush for super easy application that is very light and great for everyday...wet the sponge inside the compact if you want a heavier coverage.
Also the maximum volume mascara is outstanding. I have long lashes and I've used everything under the sun, but always went back to Cover Girl Professional Lash mascara. Well I tried the Beauticontrol maximum volume mascara and I'm sold.
The mineral eyeshadow and blush are really good and stay put. I use the "Five Minute Face" technique everyday. It takes five minutes to put on your makeup and it looks good. I use the dark mineral shadow in the trio for my eyeliner like they show you in the "Five Minute FAce" demo all the time now. I don't even use pencil or liquid liners anymore unless I'm going out to some place at night that I want a more dramatic look.
It's good stuff.
key to great skin is consistent care. If you use product off and on, then your skin will look off and on.
