Dr. Trigler and Dr. Siakowski at Dean McGee are good. They are also at the eye clinic at Children's. But there seems to be a longer wait time if you go there.
Can anyone recomend an eye dr. for children? My son is nine and is having vision trouble so I thought I would ask if anyone has had a good experience taking their child to an eye dr. I live in NW OKC so that is the area I would like to find one if possible.
Thanks so much for all of your help!!

I have a 22 month old that we thought might have vision problems due to a stroke at birth and have taken him to Dr. Mike Siatkowski at the Dean A McGee Eye institute. He is wonderful with babies and kids. My son has had two tear duct surgeries and come thru with flying colors Dr. Mike has an absolutely wonderful bedside manner also, I would recommend him to everyone. His phone # is ###-###-####. He is located near the ouhsc south of the capitol, but is definitely worth the drive, we live in far Northwest Oklahoma City. Good Luck!
Dr Korber at eye care associates 5320 n portland. My son has been seeing him (4yrs) since Dr Blacklwell-Imes died. They were both in practice together and he would see him when she was out of the office. My son started seeig Dr Blackwell when he was 3 months old and he is 20 now.
I have been very pleased with the eye doctors at Dean McGee near OU medical center. I have not taken my children but I go and so does my mom and while we are there we see lots of children in the waiting room and have visited with the parents who are very pleased with the doctors that child goes to. I would definatley call and see who the doctors are. I know most of them are specialized in some field and you couldn't be in a better place if your child needs special treatment for his eyes.
