Well, it's that time again... need to get my eyes examined again and my long-time optometrist is retiring! We've moved to Carrollton this year, so I'd like to find someone closer anyway. Does anyone use someone they particularly like?

We have used Dr. Weissman at First Eye Care and we love him! The office also has a wonderful pediatric OD, Dr. Melinda Surdacki, that our kids see.
I recommend Dr. Joselyn Alumkal. She is located at 5549 LBJ Freeway, in Dallas. It is right across the street from Valley View Mall. It is not in Carrollton, but I think she is worth the drive. I have gone to her for about 7 years and always find her professional. It is easy to get in for an appointment and she is affordable. Without insurance, I only had to pay $30 when I thought I had an eye infection and wanted her to check it out. I can always get in for a yearly contacts appointment for about $100. I never feel like she is trying to over-prescribe me. Her # is ###-###-####.
I see Dr. Alan Weismann in Carrollton. 1st Eye Care and love him.
