my son has had dark dark chocolate brown eyes since the day he was born. I know everyone always says babies are all born with blue eyes, but his have always been very dark brown.
with my DS his eyes never changed colors. there still as blue as the day he was born, same thing with my niece. Now with my DD her eyes have lightened up a bit, but im wondering how long it takes for their eyes tto change. how long did it take for ur kids's eyes to turn brown or green? thanks in advance!

My oldest nephew had the most gorgeous sky blue eyes until the age of 2.5 where now they stand at the age of 6.5 "hazel". My younger nephew had deep blue grey eyes and now at the age of 4.5 his are a light greenish brown! My oldest son's eyes were brown and at 3 are still brown. My youngest had the same color has my youngest nephew and at 15 months they are slowly changing to the infamous hazel, but some days they do look blue, just depends on what they wear I guess. I was also told by age 2 they will usually stand, but mine changed (brown to hazel) when I turned 12ish.
I give up on guessing at this point :) I'll be interesting to see what others experiences are!
My daughter was born with the prettiest blue eyes. And everytime I took her to the doctor for her checkups, I always asked when and if they would change. About 6 months they went from a pretty blue to a blueish gray. And it seemed overnight they turned to a dark beautiful brown (it was probably around 7 to 8 months they were brown).
She told me about the one year mark is when you will tell what your childs eye color is going to be.
My son was born with deep blue eyes. By his first birthday he had deep brown eyes just a shade lighter than Daddy's.
My daughter had gorgeous turquoise eyes until about 2 y/o, now they are a beautiful leaf green with some gold and light brown near the pupil. Mine were born blue and stayed blue - tho most ppl think I have green-gray eyes - they are definitely still blue.
Raven is 5 y/o now and the color has stuck. She's so upset she doesn't have blue eyes like me - but her eye color is absolutely beautiful!
Well, I always THOUGHT you could tell by the time they were two, but I was looking at my son the other day (he's 8.5) and HIS eye color has changed from a beautiful light sky blue to an intriguing, eye catching dark green. Before he went to his dad's house for the holidays they were blue, when he got home to my house, they were green!! I have NEVER heard of this, and nobody I've talked to had heard of it, either, but it definitely happened!
both kids blue eyes, still waiting. mine are 8 and 2, i read somewhere that after the 2 year mark, its there to stay
My son was born with medium blue eyes, that got lighter blue as he got older, then to gray-blue, now, at age 5 (tomorrow!), they are a gorgeous shade of light blue/green/gray. Depending on what he wears, they change, of course reflecting the color of his shirt. When he wears a khaki shirt, his eyes look exactly that color. When he has on navy, his eyes are pale blue. Generally, though, they are the light blue/green/gray color. Very pretty. :) My eyes are blue, and have been all my life. My son's father's eyes are a pretty shade I call tortoise shell, like greenish/hazel/brown. I thought that my son's eyes might be gradually moving to the direction of his father's eyes, but I think they're staying what they are... I guess time will tell!
When my son was 6months I took him to the eye doctor because one of his eyes was giving a little and looked infected. He gave me a medicine and before leaving I asked him if his blue eyes were there to stay or could they change still. He said they were final as the color fixes, generally, around that age, for some children later, but almost never before.
My oldest son and I had very blue eyes, for years, by puberty they were more green than blue
