I don't know about the magnetic mattresses, but I had the best night's sleep of my life on a sleep number bed.
I am considering buying a magnetic mattress. I want to know if anyone has one or knows someone with one and what your experience has been. I am also considering a Sleep Number bed and would like anyone's opinion on those. I need a new mattress and want to make the right choice.

Hi N. -
We don't have a magnetic mattress or a sleep number bed, but a Tempurpedic which is heavenly.

I have a sleep number bed and love it! I have a very bad back and it has helped me tremendously! I would go for a sleep number before a magnetic.
You can save some money by getting the same as a Sleep Number - it's be Sleep Comfort. I bought mine on line and saved about $700. I'm very happy with it.
We have a sleep number bed and love it! I have never heard of a magnetic mattress, but we have pretty much tried every other type of mattress out there. My husband suffers from terrible back pains and this was the only mattress that did the trick to get him a good night sleep. I will be honest there are several different options, we did go with I believe the 7000 series; I believe 9000 is the top of the line and this was one step below it. There are several models under this one so I dont know if the lower models are as good or not. We also went with the adjustable mattress so we can raise and lower the head and foot portions as desired - this along with making the mattress as soft or firm as desired are things I don't think we could live with out now that we are used to it. It was a little pricey but I can say it was worth every penny. Good luck with your decision.
No information on the magnetic mattresses, but we also have a Select Comfort (sleep number) bed, and have had one for years. They are pricey, but well worth the money! Their company has outstanding customer service & promptly ship an parts that need to be replaced at no cost if your bed is still under warranty. Another option is to purchase a pre-owned bed. You would get an older model, and many parts are replaced with new - but you get a huge savings. This is what we did 10 years ago & our bed is still going strong. They also warranty these pre-owned models.
My husband and I have a Tempurpedic Mattress (which is WONDERFUL) and then we have a set of Magnetico magnets placed between the box spring and the mattress. From the second we placed them, I've slept better and feel better. They are expensive, but worth it (We think).

Let me know if you have any other questions...oh yeah, THEY ARE VERY, VERY HEAVY. You will need some help putting them on your bed.
We have a sleep number mattress and are very happy with it. I have a lot of family and friends that also have one. It took a little while to adjust to it but once we did we sleep much better. Good luck
My husband and I have had a Sleep Number Bed since 1998 and love it. Your best bet on getting one of those is to order it online through their outlet. You'll save quite a bit of money on it that way. That is how we purchased our king sized bed we have now. Good luck.
