T.S.
How about looking for some clip art or photos to use in the body of an email? Then you could still send it electronically :)
Evite has limmited themes. My daughters birthday party theme it a water lily's, lily pads and frogs. Its not a common theme and I cannot find it in anything but a paper invite. However, time and budget dictates an email invite. Any suggestions so I can be true to my theme? Anything better than Evite out there?

Try out http://whoozin.com
You could upload your own images to the RSVP. Maybe put a picture of your daughter or family for the RSVP.
The last few email invites I've gotten were from punchbowl.

Try Pingg
http://www.pingg.com/
you can upload your own image to evite. Find a cute clip art online -- go to google, click on Images second from left at top, then type the words you want. It will show you all the images that match. Right-click or option-click on the one you want, save it to your hard drive, then head to evite for "upload your photo"
Check out www.smilebox.com . I am pretty sure they have an invite option and you can probably use your own picture if you'd like. I use that site for slideshows and I've never done an invite on it but I think you can.
Have an evite that has colors that match your theme. I'm surprised you couldn't find a frog evite though. Does it really have to be exactly water lily's, lily pads and frogs? You may have to modify the invite. It really won't matter in the overall big picture. Don't worry about the small stuff and enjoy your daughter's party :)
Definitely try http://whoozin.com
A great Evite alternative and it's great for recurring events. It's free too.
I don't know what sort of themes they have, but a lot of my friends use pingg.com for their electronic invitations.
Paperless Post - it has great tracking options, too, with reminder emails and you can see what may have bounced, etc. Lots of choices on the stationery styles, and if you want to make it fancier, you can add stuff for a small extra fee like envelopes and special addresses and the like that make it look really nice even though it is an emailed invitation. I used it for my last two parties and am a convert - won't use evite again! Too many lost emails on evite, and not enough choices.
