Many!
One springs to mind. I actually don't remember a THING of it except for the very end. It was one of those Murphey's Laws kind of days where I REALLY should have just gone back to bed and waited for the next day to dawn. As I'm FINALLY getting home, less than a block -I can SEE my house, have my blinker on to turn- red and blue lights and siren light up my car.
It was too much, I burst out laughing. Rolled my window down, had my things out for the officer, and was STILL laughing when he got to my window. I put my hand through to shake his and with a huge smile (he looked a little wild around the eyes) said "Welcome to my REALLY bad day." He asked what I meant, and still chuckling, I gave him the "list" of that day, ending with pointing to my house 2 houses away and getting pulled over, and he was busting up by the end of it, too. It really was just one of THOSE days.
For making HIS day he let me off, because to add insult to injury my license which I had JUST renewed (good for 7 years) they had the issue date one month before the expiration date, someone had peeled the tabs off my car, my break light was out (why he pulled me over) and I had the wrong insurance card. As I tried to start my car, it died. Head thwack! He walked me to the door of my house to make sure nothing else happened, and as I took my key out after unlocking the house it broke inside the lock. He made me PROMISE not to leave the house until the next day.
He made my day.
