my son just finished up k with a GREAT teacher, and we got her a gift cert for a manicure/pedicure.
My son's teacher always has pretty silver jewelry on so I went to Sam Moon that just opened off of North Tarrant and got her a bangle bracelet with a teacher's prayer written on it and some plain bangles to go with it. I was just going to put them in a little bag with a note from my son written in it.
Hi,
If you know any of the other parents in your childrenes class I recommend getting together with other parents and buying a gift certificate. My experience is that the teachers appreciate gift certificates because they have a lot of mugs, teachers apple decorations, #1 teacher items, etc.

Gift Cards! I teach at a preschool and LOVE gift cards. Especially things that I use a lot...Target and McDonalds. Avoid Starbucks unless you know that your teacher likes coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker and have more Starbucks gift cards than anyone needs!
Gifts other than gift cards are great, but remember that your teacher has more than one student, so cutesy knick-knacks etc. add up quickly. And although plants are great, not everyone likes to have a house full of something to take care of.
Although the stuffed animal thing that someone else posted sounds great, keeping stuffed toys clean for a classroom is not fun.
picture frames with your child in it... gift certificates can't go wrong
Hi. My kid's teachers love to use stuffed animals in their teaching, and the kids love to have the animals in the rooms. So, I usually give the teachers one of my products. I am similar to the place in the mall, but I work from my home and come to your location and do Stuff-n-Fluff parties. You can order my animals in a "To Go" gift bag individually, and give the teacher a fun gift. You can even have your kiddos record a message on a recordable sound chip to the teacher, or put a sound chip, example "bark" for the dog, inside. Feel free to look at my website and let me know if anything interests you.

little gift sets from bath and body works are nice! assuming your kids have girl teachers. If not you can always do starbucks or sonic gift cards.
I used to be a teacher and I loved gift cards to restaurants and stores.
Unless you really know what teacher likes, gift cards are best. My son is now in 4th grade. I have only done gifts twice for teachers outside of giftcards or cash. Both of those teachers I knew quite well and knew the gifts I got would work.
I got jewelry for one (Not teacher related) and some dog toys (she just got a new puppy) and cowboys stuff, huge fan.
Nana Puddins has the CUTEST bags. You can get their name embroidered on them. They are pretty cheap too. Her name is Kim Bransford, and her number is ###-###-####. Tell her J. sent you!
