Has anyone used Emler Swim School or Cooper Aerobics Swim School? I am trying to find the best lessons for the money. My daughter took lessons last summer at SMU but I don't feel the kids made much progress at the end of the class. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Love Emler, they have been soooo patient and flexible and so far they always keep my kids best interest in mind, eager to find the perfect fit for them and their teachers, always available to talk to and so far I really have liked it. My daughter has excellent technique and keeps on learning, my son was TERRIFIED and he is now swimming and my youngest got a stubborn attack and they totally worked with her. My only comment: their changing rooms and bathrooms could be a little cleaner...or maybe I am just too paranoid.
Good luck!

Hi N.,

My son has taken lessons at Cooper Swim Academy at Cooper Fitness Center in North Dallas for the last two years. I like how they focus on technique and build on it with every level. My son enjoyed it and learned so much. As a former swimmer, I highly recommend it, it's worth every penny!

I strongly encourage Emler. I've been taking my two year old daughter there since we moved to Dallas 8 months ago. The teachers are great with the kids. If they see they need comforting, they help comfort the child and doesn't force them. They provide great feedback on your child and you can sign up anytime during the session and they will pro-rate the amount.

They offer an orientation class that you can try for free and they will go over everything they plan on teaching your child.

This may be kinda bias but I have a good friend that teaches lessons at Emler. She has great things to say about them I;m sure she'd be happy to answer any questions that you have. Let me know if you want to talk to her.
