i was searching for online coupons last week and ran across Emeals.com. It sounded pretty good to me cause i have a tendency to open the pantry and just blank out as what to cook for dinner. I wanted to know if anyone else has tried it, and how does the food taste, were the recipes easy etc. i started it yesterday and went shopping for it and didnt find 2 of the things on the shopping list. Does it normally have a few things not on it ? Any one familiar with it, i would appreciated your opinion, thank you.

I use a meal planning/menu service called www.savingdinner.com. Sounds kind of like the same thing, but I know we usually like the saving dinner recipes and can generally find everything on the shopping list.

I sympathize by the time it comes to dinner, I am hoping for some crazy inspiration to jump out at me. I am usually so tired and burnt out from the day that I feel like soaking in the shower and getting take out. However, that usually does not fit into out budget. So I do a lot of cooking on the weekends, freeze things and all dinner requires is simple prep and light clean up. I love the fact that I do not have to think about it.
We do a lot of cooking in the slow cooker (meat tends to heat up better when slow cooked). Here are some ideas: Sour Cream and Chicken Enchiladas, Meatloaf, Italian Beef, Lasagna, Meatballs. I am not sure about a specific website, except I found some other ideas in a cook book from our library. It was called Freezer Meals or something like that. Good luck and let me know if emeals works. I am always looking for new ideas.
