Emails

If we're busy-not at all.
If we're lazing about the house like today-once or twice.
Can you text them?

I check may be three times a day. Sometimes just once a day depending what is going on and how many errands I have to run, or if I'm doing a lot of chores that day.
Call your friends instead. They may not be near a computer, or their email isn't working right, or they may be gone for the afternoon. Leave them a voicemail. They'll get that before they get their email. :-D

It's the weekend..Unless I go on the internet- like on here, then I wouldn't check it on the weekend. Just call them.

I'd say about twice a day on the computer. But, I get allerts on my phone too

My computer comes on first thing in the morning to chat with a group of friends at 6am. Then I leave it on and turned up loud enough so I can hear when I get email or an instant message. I do whatever I am doing that day, dishes, laundry, sewing, cooking and watching my grand daughter. I come and sit whenever I want and read emails, and check other stuff, like this site, and end the day chatting with my sister in another town while we both watch tv. until 11pm. I am checking craigslist, facebook, emails, blogs, and such all day. So, I check my email maybe 30 times a day. Whats funny is I rarely get any emails other than notices from facebook and here. This morning I had only 2 other ones worth reading..

Only once, most of the time I don't check them at all.. It depends on what type of plans I have. If I'm waiting for an e-mail I may check more often. If I want to get together with friends, I pick up the phone and call them.

Since this is a response you are waiting on from a FRIEND... why don't you just call them.
Not wait for the e-mail.
Some people do NOT check e-mails on weekends.
AND it depends, IF you e-mailed them at their work e-mail... or their PERSONAL e-mail... ie: at home.

If you e-mailed them to their work e-mail, they will NOT get it, until they go back to work, tomorrow.

I never e-mail my friends, to their work e-mail, if I need a quick response.
I e-mail their personal e-mail.

The simple solution to this conundrum, is simply to CALL your friend, by phone.

I don't check it at all from Fri afternoon til monday morning. if someone really wants me they will text or call.

Rarely. Which is also true during the week. Most of my email is business related (bills, upcoming notices about classes and camps, evites for birthday parties a few weeks out, that kind of thing.). I sift through them once or twice a week.

If it's time sensitive, but not urgent enough for a potentially interrupting phone call, my friends text me or send a FB message (which comes through on my phone with a great deal more ease than email).

I check mine a few times a day. But they may be busy. Why not call them?

Me? About once a week... Haha. I'm terrible. I have like 300 emails in my inbox. That's my personal email. I stay on top of my work email.

They're probably out doing stuff.
