Hi. I have hair in places I don't want it,haha, so I decided to have laser hair removal done. It works, but has not be permanent. I need to get it done about every three months and I've been doing it for about 7yrs. I am thinking about electrolysis as the laser is really costing a lot of money. My question is have any of you had experience with both and which one you have the best results with? Or if you have tried something else that works well I would love to hear it. I am looking for something that is permanent or something that only needs to be done like once or twice a yr. ( Wishful thinking huh!) Thanks.

If you find something, let me know! I hate body hair and shave every day!! For facial hair I use cream removal...that works but doesn't last permanently and I haven't tried lasers because I heard it was expensive....waxing thins hair out, but it is not my favorite so I don't do that either....you could try bleaching it, so it will still be there, but not as noticeable....

I have a friend that got electrolysis done several times and the size of her pores are very large - she got this done under her lip - I have had great results with laser.. maybe your doctor is not using the most up-to-date laser - I would call around and do some research on the lasers they are using - I had about 5 treatments on my legs 2 years ago and they are smooth as glass - I must admit I do have some new hairs coming in on my face - I am guessing these are newly developed hairs - the hairs must be dark in order to get them zapped other wise you are wasting your money on light colored ones - my hair was very dark.. hope this helps

I wish we all didn't have much body hair. I am pretty lucky, but I still have some. I think one of the reasons I don't have a lot is because when I was younger I used to get electrolysis at the beginning of every summer. The pain was bareable for me. Professional waxing seems to have worked as well, I barely have any hair left under my arms.
