Egg Donor

I am 25 weeks pregnant with twins thanks to donor eggs. Obviously for me it has been a positive experience. I can direct you to a great yahoo group called Parents Via Egg Donation (PVED). I am not sure why anyone would think egg donation would be unwise. If you have issues with your own eggs and you and your husband want children (and you want to be pregnant)then do your research and find a great doctor. I have a friend that did it and they have a beautiful child. Good luck!!

i don't know your situation, but an egg donor seems unwise.

I have a good friend that is going through this right now and it worked out very well for her. She went through 3 invitro procedures and would lose the baby every time and then she went with an egg donor and is now 28 weeks along with twin girls. From her blogs and talking to her this has been a pleasant experience and she is very happy. She detailed all the steps through her blog, from finding just the right donor and all the tests that the egg donor and also my friend and her husband had to go through to finding out that there were 13 or so viable eggs and that 2 actually developed. Great experience for her.
