Shaving cream. Rub it in and rinse off. It doesn't work completely but almost!

comet or soft scrub with bleach. Just use sparingly. It won't hurt them and it comes right off!

I don't know if there are any tricks. It fades after a few days.

I was cleaning up the counter that I spilled dye on and noticed that Comet with Bleach took the dye right off my fingertips. So when my girls complained that the dye wasn't coming off their hands I added a drop of it to the liquid hand soap they'd already lathered up with and all of the dye came off, no problems. (Note, I have never used bleach on my kids or my hands before, but if one drop did the trick, I'm ok with that.)
