If I had already seen a Dr. and things got worse vs improving, I would go see a dermatologist who specializes in the skin.
It sounds like you were misdiagnosed and you need a correct diagnosis by a dermolotogist.
A few months ago I developed a blister like rash on my lower leg. It itched and still does so bad. It then spread to the nape of my neck. That's embarrassing enough, I itch it so intensely that people probably wonder if I have lice, lol. I can tell you it's the same rash as on my leg though. Now it has spread to my bottom, all over and I between the cheeks. Again same blister like rash. I've seen the Dr. A few times now but all she gives me is a steroid cream. When I went to my pharmicist he came out and told me I needed to use it VERY sparingly because it will thin the skin and cause bleeding. I have used as little as possible but now I am bleeding there from the steroid.
I have NOT used any of the following: new soap, laundry detergent, ate or drank anything new. I also only wear cotton underwear and no thongs. Any advice to make the eczema go away?

You need to see a dermatologist instead of a regular doctor when its this bad! It sounds like something more than just eczema...or a really bad case, and you might need anitbiotics since you have broken the skin in that spot. I'm so sorry and good luck! Be a squeeky wheel!
You need a dermatologist, now.
More than eczema it sounds like impetigo, it spreads just like you say...you may have been misdiagnosed, check with a different doctor now as impetigo can be spread to other people too!
Maybe get a 2nd opinion. I have seen lots of eczema and none of looks like a blistery rash.
You may have developed a sensitivity to your soaps. If you don't already try sensitive formulas with no fragrance etc..
The bleeding could also be from itching not just the steroid.
Start taking Zyrtec
Have you tried over the counter cortizone cream or Cetaphil lotion? You might need to go to a dermatologist.
I prefer shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, almond oil, or apricot oil in any combination to soothe chapped skin but especially for eczema.
I agree with everyone else that says you should see a dermatologist. The skin doctor would know what would be better for your skin. Personally I would lean towards cocoa butter or shea butter with a combination of coconut oil and jojoba oil.
Definitely think it's time for a second opinion! You poor thing! You tried the cream and it's not working, time for something else.
Have you gone to the emergency room or clinic? Sounds like an emergency to me!
Are you seeing a dermatologist? If not, then absolutely see one ASAP. I've seen some other forms of eczema that are blister like, but that doesn't sound like your run of the mill eczema. What sort of detergents and lotions are you using? It doesn't have to be new to irritate your skin, especially not in this condition! You need to probably be using free and clear stuff on all your laundry. Try Cetaphil (the cream in the tub only), Mositurel or Aquaphor for basic moisturizing lotion, nothing with scents.
Even if you have been seeing a derm, I'd probably try to get an appointment with a new one, this sounds terrible! Good luck!
I know this sounds crazy but check for fleas. I get crazy eczema only durring the summer months. If I get any flea bites, the rash goes completely nuts. I have to treat my lawn for fleas and I frequently shake salt onto my carpet prior to vacuuming to minimize the flea issue. I would also suggest having a nutrition panel run on your blood. When we are vitamin deficient, our immune system gets compromised and skin issues like eczema flare up. I was found to be deficent in B12, Iron and vitamin D. When I started taking supliments, my skin got much much better. Good luck to you.
The pharmacist is right about the steroid cream. Are you sure it's eczema? There are so many types of rashes - impetigo, psoriasis, etc.,not to mention blistering reactions like poison ivy and poison oak.
Rashes can be caused by something topical (e.g. detergent) but also by toxins building up internally - I work with a lot of people with eczema and psoriasis and there's a lot that can be done, but first you need to know what it is. Let me know if you want more help.
Have you tried keeping the area lotioned? My DD's excema needs to be kept lotioned or it gets worse.
You might also want to look at all your products and go for dye free, more natural products. Especially anything you use on your underpants. Consider a wet washcloth or cloth baby wipe vs toilet paper. Don't use scented feminine products.
Also, look at what you eat. Even a different brand can have new problems. My DD cannot have apples - but it took her eating raw apples to figure it out and apple juice and apple sauce are a problem in quantity. It wasn't obvious, though.
A blister like rash could mean the rash has become infected and is not just eczema. Cortisone will make an infection worse, not better. See a dematologist.
Yes, the cortisone will thin the skin over time. But sometimes it is more effective to use the cortisone cream several times a day for a few days to get rid of the rash and then a couple more days to heal the skin so it's not so prickly. Then take a break from the cortisone. I've found that this often results in using less cortisone in the long run. Again, I'd talk to my dermatologist to get the best strategy to get rid of the rash and the avoid its recurrence.
Ah, the rash between the cheeks. It needs air to dry out and heal. Sunlight also helps. Have fun figuring out how to get some alone time and work on your all-over tan.
Some other things that can cause a new rash: dyes in clothing (new underwear?) and stress. It is also possible to develop an new allergy to something that never bothered you before.
Although you have not changed soaps, laundry detergents, etc, it is always possible that THEY have changed their formulations... or you could have developed a sensitivity to it.
However, it is very possible that it isn't excema..... there are other things that cause a blistery rash.....
