She's a growing girl!! I think if she's not overweight, and seems happy and content, sleeps well and is hitting developmental milestones at a reasonable rate, then you are doing a great job. Don't worry!
I know that every baby is different, but i am just curious. I think I may feel better if I get another mothers' advice. My 5 1/2 month old baby girl is eating six ounces every 4 hours and 1 tbs of baby oatmeal with each feeding. Is that too much? She seems to be getting full, but i just feel like its a lot of food for a baby her age. She is not overweight and she is healthy as a horse, but I swear it seems like I could give her a steak to suck on and she would!!!! LOL!!! I think that she just has a healthy appetite. Just curious. :)

If she were eating too much at one sitting she would spit it all back up. She's growing and needs all that nutrition.
I was so concerned with my son's eating 'quantities', but my pediatrician assured me that when he's full, he will stop eating and that I should quit obsessing! :) Your daughter may just be going through a growth sprut or else she has a metabolism to die for. Don't worry about it and enjoy it now while she IS eating for you. When she becomes a picky toddler you'll be wondering how to get her to eat more! LOL! :)
give the nurse at her dr. office a call or just google reccomended amounts. I have no clue how much my two year old was eating at that time, but what you stated seems about right to me. I am NO expert though.
As far as I know, babies will only eat what they are hungry for. :)
My two and a half month old eats every 2-4 hours during the day and every 7 hours at night, though I'm not sure how much because she is EBF and I don't pump. :) It seems like she is eating a ton, but it is obviously what is right for her. :)
My babies were like that, so were my grandbabies. They are now 10-9-3-6mos and they always come to grandma's HUNGRY. My 6 month old grandson was eating an 8oz bottle every 4 hours by 4 months and then he started cereal at about 4.5 months old. Now he's on 3 jars of baby food a day plus bottles. He's not over weight but he's a big boy. He's happy and smiley almost crawling.
When they are growing they are HUNGRY. Then you add the fact that they are moving more they use a lot of energy.
thats how my youngest was. she was and still is my good eater.shes a normal sized girl and very healthy dont worry momma shes fine!
My kids were TINY but they ate more than that. My first was eating a jar of baby food 3x a day and 8 oz. of bottle whenever (like 4x a day). My younger was fully on table food by then and bottles. (She never ate more than 6 oz. at a time in a bottle). So, feed her cheerios, small banana bits, small apple bits, grapes cut up...whatever She IS hungry!
She's probably hitting a growth spurt. It sounds very normal to be eating that much that often at almost 6 months.
Out of curiosity, is there a reason you mix cereal in with each feeding? She's old enough that you can start teaching her to eat the cereal from a spoon in a chair; unless there are specific doctor recommendations for mixing it in, I'd give her straight formula and start giving her cereal once a day (start with it quite thin, mixed with formula, and then you can make it thicker as she gets used to it).
The two great thing about babies and their eating habits is they are not glutten's and will never starve themselves. Your baby will eat when she's hungry and stop eating when she's full- something many of us adults wish we held on to. Feed her all she wants- she's a growing girl and as long as it's healthy, (and she's not allergic ;)) can do no harm to her.
