Early Reader Books for Spalding Method of Learning

My daughter is learning the Spalding Method to read/write and I am having trouble finding early reader books that emphasiize that way of learning (phonograms/phonems) as opposed to sight words. The Spalding website has some they produce that are way too expensive for my budget and I can't find any of the ones they produce on craigslist or ebay. Does anybody know of an author or titles that might work best for early reading? I would ideally like to find them at the library since they'd be free! Thanks!

What can I do next?

I'm not familiar with the "Spalding Method" but my family has always loved and used our public library as much as possible.
Just ask the librarian, that's what s/he's there for!

my library has lots of books that emphasize phonics.. ask the librarian at your local library.. (go to a couple of libraries that are nearby if you cant find what you are looking for.)

I would not buy early reader books as they take abotu 5 minutes for a child to read. and after 2 or 3 times the kid is bored with them and they can "read" the book by memory..

our school bought raz-kids for our grades k-2 it has leveled books for the kdis to read online.. (kids start with super easy books level A.. then progress through the levels.. first grade is level d-j...) you might look at the raz-kids website.. i dont think it is super expensive..

Try the Bob books. Libraries usually have them.

I am not familiar with that method but... I taught my daughter to read using the book "Teach your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons". It teaches phonetics. After day 60 she could read any easy reader at the library or book store because she knew how to read:)
