I have two morning schedules:

Preschool days: UP, breakfast, shower, get Kiddo to preschool then from 9-1, take care of my own needs (take a walk, grocery shopping, dishes, phone calls, and this site somedays), pick up- nice walk home, playtimes together, snack storytime (he eats, I read), Quiet play time, then dinner prep together, dinner around 5:30, get Kiddo ready for bed, play, bedtime at 7ish, and we usually watch a couple hours of tv from 8-10, or read.

Non-preschool mornings: Slower morning, Kiddo watches SuperWhy and Dinosaur Train and I do email/phone calls, or we are heading out to a playdate/adventure... less structured, depending on the plan for the day. I like to get dishes/housework done before heading out on an adventure. Usually we're back around Snack Storytime/Quiet playtime and take it from there, just as we would a preschool day.

Of course, on the weekends, my husband's being home throws us off, but we've come to a point of understanding that we need to keep certain aspects of the schedule consistent (meals, quiet play, playtimes together) if things are to go well for the whole day.

I'm usually up between 5:30 & 6:30 to give the 5 mo. old a bottle. If I make it to the 6:50 alarm I got to sleep in. Two kids have to be up around 7:15 to get ready for school. If we are walking (on nice days), we leave around 7:40 if not I wake daddy to drive them (can't drive till June) school starts @ 7:55. Then @ 8:15 I have breakfast for the 4 yr old & 21 mo old. Between 9-10 the baby needs another bottle. Lunch is around 11:30 with nap for the 21 mo old after lunch. Then, the 4 yr old and I sit down for "class" for till around 1:30 - 2 ish. Baby needs another bottle around the time "class" end. The 2 kids in school get out of school at 2:25, then we do homework till around 3:30 or 4 ish. Dinner prep starts along with washing dishes around 5 - 5:30 with dinner around 7ish with a bottle somewhere during that time. Then 4 baths and bed between dinner & 8 - 8:30. Baby gets last bottle of the day around 8 ish. Around 9 ish hubby & I lay down to cuddle and watch a little tv.

In the mits of everything I have to do laundry, yard work, shopping, doc appointments, house cleaning, animal care & everything else. Along with the fun stuff like reading to the kids, play time, gardening/canning, walks in the parks & going to the play ground.

Weekends aren't much different - except we don't do the "class" and taking & picking-up the kids to school.

I'm up and in the shower at 5:35. My daughter leaves for the bus at 6:25 and my son at 7:25. I leave for work at 8:00, walk with a friend for a half hour and then start the workday. Workday ends at 3:30, usually walk for a half hour. Then, I run any errands if I need to and the rest of the day depends on what activities the kids have and if I need to drive or pick them up. Mondays nights, my daughter has 4H meetings, Tuesday nights my son has Boy Scouts, Wednesday after school my daughter has drivers ed, Thursday after school she volunteers at a local art center so making dinner goes around the kid pickups/dropoffs and Dh's availability. We usually eat around 6:30 and if I'm not driving kids, I usually relax for the evening - tv, computer, read, cross stitch, sometimes a little wine and usually in bed around 11pm.

Up between 6 and 6:30am. Get the kids up by 7am so they can get off to school by 7:30. I get off to work sometime after that. Then it is work all day. My hubby picks up the two younger ones after track practice, unless there is a meet, in which case we go to the meet and then bring them home. The oldest drives himself home after track practice or work. Then it is off to Scouts, or gymnastics practice or Wyldlife (YoungLife for middle school kids). We're lucky if we get a good dinner at home during the week. It is usually something from the freezer, fast food or concessions at a meet. During the other sports seasons, it doesn't seem like our lives are quite so busy, but we still do a lot of running around.

Up at 5:30 am. Get hubby up at 6:00 (if he is on dayshift for the day). Get the boys up at 6:20. Make lunches, get boys dressed and ready and out the door by 6:45. Drop oldest off at bus at 6:50 then the little one at Chapel at 7:05 then my husband at work at 7:25 and get to my job at 7:35. Work all day and get off at 4:30. Pick up husband then pick up both boys at chapel at 5:10. 2-3 nights a week we have baseball practice. Make dinner, eat, bath/shower for the boys, homework/reading time and hopefully get them to bed around 8 pm. Then I work-out or try to get some housework done. I try to get to bed by 10 pm.
