Hello! I like to spurge on myself andI treat myself to some new makeup or other "spa" type goodies. Any recommendations on brands you like for nailpolish, blush, lip gloss, lotion? Thanks!

most makeups aggravate my allergies, but Almay & Physician's Formula rock! Cheap, buy it anywhere.....& it never triggers me.
I like Kiss My Face brand lotions. I notice my skin is so much softer when I use them, and they smell really nice. You can find them in the "organic/natural" areas of the grocery store; Wal Mart, Kroger/Smiths, and Target all carry them.
The best lotion I have ever used-actually comes from the drug store-it is Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning-with vitamin E and it also has Shea Butter-shea butter, I believe, is the only known substance that penetrates all 7 layers of skin. It is produced by nuts that come from the shea tree-only grown in Africa. It's like gold-my skin has been absolutely transformed! Best nail polish-Chanel, best blush-Chanel/Lancome. Lip gloss-Mac.
Nail polish - OPI - lasts forever
Foundation - Cover girl clean make-up (it really does look natural and it's truly a drugstore brand...it won't make you break out)
I agree with the other lady on the Chanel nail polish. It's the best. However, Essie nail polish is darn good too, and it's a lot cheaper and easy to find at the drug stores. It comes in a lot of fun colors. For lip balm, I've tried Kiehl's, because I understand a lot of celebrity makeup artists think it's the best, but to me it's about the same as Vaseline. My favorite lip balm ever is Burt's Bees. It smells nice, and if you stick a tube in your pocket, it's soft and warm when you smooth it on. (Just remember not to wash your jeans with the lip balm tube still in your pocket--been there/done that.)
Go for OPI or China Glaze for nail polish! It is long lasting and they have great colors. Ulta III sells them. As far as make-up I am a bit of a brat. I like better quality and stick to Mary Kay for my skincare and Bare Minerals for my makeup. I use powder foundation and so happy to not have to use liquid foundation! I use eye and face primer underneath. If you are going to stick to Drugstore...go with Almay.
