Does anyone have any experience with drop-off daycare centers? We live in the North Richland Hills area and are in need of a drop-off daycare to use for a couple of hours during the day. I am blessed with a husband that works nights so that he can stay home with our little 10 month old boy. However, he has audtions during the day and we need somewhere that we can take our little one when no one else is available. It really makes us nervous to do but, I would feel a little better if someone could recomend a good place.

I don't know if this is too far, but we use "Child-n-Play" on Grapevine Hwy. They have had the same director (which is very good) since they openned a few years ago and it is clean and safe. We use it ALL the time. My son loves it.

I dont know about any in NRH but we used Play Time Hourly Childcare in keller when are daughter was under a year as well as Adventure Child Care in Southlake (only once) better for the older kids but have very good safety precautions!!! Which is why we now use them. I like both and never had any problems with them.
We also have no family up here...my husband works nights (7 days a week) as well and I am a SAHM now. But there are times that I need to get things done and dont have a daytime babysitter. We chose to do Mothers Day Out program which I found a great one in North Richland Hills (The Life Church). She goes every Tues and Thur from 9 to 2 and runs $170 a month. This allows me to go to doctors apts with out her and get thing done like shopping and cleaning and even just time to myself. It has been a GOD send...this might be an option for your husband and you.
We live in NRH too and I use Adventure kids in Southlake. Very safety oriented and great with the kids. I was always leary of taking my kids in there and a friend recommended me to them. Also I feel better that my children are old enough to tell me what's going on. I do know that they have a seperate baby area and can only take so many infants at one time. Also they do the childcare for Larry North Fitness in southlake town square.
