Has anyone used One Step Ahead's Dri Nights Bedwetter Pants?
http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId...

My 5 year old wets the bed nightly (we're watching it with his pedi). I'm tired of buying pull-ups and he's embarrassed by them. He wants to go sleepover at his friends house, but is afraid of being laughed at because of the pullups. Do these actually work? Do they leak?
Any experience, good or bad, would be appreciated!

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone. We've tried Goodnights (pullups are cheaper and don't leak for us so we've used them instead), the bed overlay from thebedwettingstore.com, homeopathic bedwetter chewables, etc etc and no success so far.

We ran out of pullups last night and he wore underwear - soaked the bed.

I think I'll try these and let you all know how they go.

My son who is now 9 wet the bed up until last year. We found out from our pediatrician about a medication that can be given for bedwetters to help them not produce such an overabudance of urine at night. It worked miracles and gave my son the confidence he needed to be able to have friends spend the night and spend the night away without the possible embarassement of wetting the bed or having to take a Overnights pull up with him. You might want to ask your pediatrician about it.

My 4 year old has the same issue. We use Goodnights. As the previous person said, they do "smell like pee' in the morning and my sons pullups are "full". We ahve not tried these yet.
There is another website that specializes only in bedwetting and related products. bedwettingstore.com you might like at their products as well. Goodnights were less expensive at the local stores here.

We used GoodNights......which do pull-up. The problem is he will smell like pee no matter what kind of undergarment he wears.

Ask your doctor if you can try DDAVP. It might help him stop wetting the bed. It took years for us. My son finally slowed down wetting the bed at about 11 and pretty much stopped at 14. For some reason, lots more kids seem to have this problem these days.

I tried a bedwetting alarm too. But we started it when he was much older. Five would be a great age to try it out.

I have a friend who had an 8 year old bed wetter. She'd tried many things with her pedi, but what finally got rid of the problem was her chiropracter. She adjusted the child teice and the problem went away. I really recommend this. I have since seen this chiro and she is great. Her mane is Dr. Jennifer Ridley and her number ###-###-####
