Hi,
I bought one of the baskets too to keep all the bottle "parts" in. I put them in the dishwasher a lot. I never had a bottle leak on me, but I remember the lettering/measuring info of the bottles partially coming off.
I have been hand washing the Dr. Brown's bottles daily. Does anyone know if it is ok to put them in the dishwasher?

When my daughter was using bottles we would wash them in the dishwasher at least once a week. I did have to replace a few bottle though because after quite a few washes they would start to leak a little out of the bottom. I think the dishwasher may break down the plastic a little, but I felt like they got cleaner (more sanitized) when I washed them in the dishwasher. (It may not be true but it made me feel a little better)
It says not to because they will burn on the bottom shelf. I have washed them since day one on the top shelf. My daughter is 2 and will not drink Milk out os sippy cup onle juice or water so she still drinks milk out of her Dr. Browns we have never had a problem
Hi J.!
I've been putting my Dr. Brown's bottles in the dishwasher after handwashing them for several months (what a pain!). They don't seem any worse for wear other than they seem to be affected by hard water like my regular glasses are, looking scratched and soap spots appearing on the nipples. I just re-rinse the nipples before putting them on the bottle to make sure all the soap is out.
I do worry sometimes that the yellow part of the filter doesn't get washed as well, so I handwash those every so often with the little brushes that come with the bottles.
Sorry about the rambling message! I hope it helps!

I used Dr. Browns for my twins and yes you can. On the top rack of course. BUT.... you will want to make sure and hand scrub the insert part (straw thingy). I know that they include one with the bottles. And I used the dishwasher bottle caddie and I put the straw insrts into the sippy cup straw holder side. I loved it and it worked great!!
I dishwashed without any problems, but I did buy a basket for the bottle pieces/nipples and only put it on the top rack. You can buy the basket at Babies R Us, Target, etc.
