Double Cannon Blast Slide....now What?

My MIL bought my kids a Banzai Double Cannon Blast Slide and I am wondering, once your kids are done for the day do you have to empty it out somehow, dry it completely, and then take it down? Or do you leave it up? I have never used one of these and am not sure what to expect as far as set up and take down. Any advise is appreciated.

What can I do next?

I highly recommend you turn the water off and leave it blown up for a little while to dry. Not sure if this is why or because it was stored wet, but my MIL's slide has mold all over it! It was used one summer and then full of mold the next. I wouldn't think it would take much effort to let the fan run for a little bit just to dry it!

It only stays inflated if the fan is running.

Did it not come with directions? If it's like the slide my grandkids use it's a vinyl sheet on which you run water. I can tell you that if you leave it on the ground, the grass will turn yellow and eventually die. I never dried it off; just loosely rolled it up and set it on my patio to dry.

I googled this and learned that one family leaves the blower on to let it dry and then rolls it up and puts it in a plastic tub. Said it was easy to manage. I suggest that you don't have to take it down at the end of the day if you're not concerned about the lawn. If you are you could just move it every other day or so without drying it out.

There were other sites listed when I googled but I didn't look at them. This seemed to answer your question.

We let ours deflate, then blow it back up and dry it to the best of our ability. Sometimes we have to deflate it again and flip it over to dry the bottom too. I think no matter how good you take of them, they just stink. We have gone through 3 of them now, and they all smell like dirty feet.
For the winter time, store it indoors. We used to store ours in the shed in the winter, and have found that the weather effects the lining. Ours have never lasted more than one year. We are on year two of our current one, and I think it is because we stored it inside.

We're getting something similar. From what I've read, when you're done you let the water out, then you can re-inflate it to let it dry out. Then just deflate it, leave it, and use it the next day. Not sure if we'll do that, but someone who left a comment said that is what they do. Hope that helps! HOW FUN!!
