I wish we would get a notification if someone updates their post or adds the So What Happened part. I hate having to go fishing to see if someone added something. I usually don't send out my flowers until some time has gone by and I've added SWH.
What else would you like this site to do?
I think it goes with the good and the bad. Would love to have it more conversational, like I am doing now. However, it gets bad enough when dealing with the trolls. Thanks OneAndDone....didn't know I could save something. :) There are some really awesome people on here and I'd just like to check in on them when I think about them or their situation and I've forgotten what their exact profile name is ....especially if I haven't commented on their post.
You can "save an item" to make it easier to go back & see if it's been updated.

This site is FINE as it is. Do not make it more like fb or anything else - you have to be invested in a topic to look for the SWH.
yes, I agree! I also wish you could comment directly to posts/comments from users. But then again, that might get ugly. I wish it would give notifications of updates, too! or do a news feed thing like facebook does and put the questions at the top that you asked or responded to!
Yes. Maybe not like FB, but more like a message board. That way people could have conversations in one post rather than having to "ETA" and hope someone goes back to read it. It would also be cool if the updated posts would bump to the top of the first page. And I wish there was a chat room here. It's nice to be able to chat. I started a message board a while back, but the Yuku site was giving people problems signing up. I agree with you on taking the bad along with the good. That's life. :)

Actually I'm really glad it's NOT like FB! I cringe to imagine all the back and forth comments, arguments, political/parenting-style rants and snide remarks. That would be way too much for my taste :(
I just wish more people would respond in the SWH. I often go back to see how that mom is doing, and whether or not we helped her.
This site already has a friend aspect. When you friend someone you're able to easily go to their page. You click on "Send Friend Request" on their profile site.
I agree just something simple like options to get notified on updates on subjects your interested in. nothing too fancy.
Often thought the same thing, but then I wonder if I'm asking for too many more notifications, LOL!? Then again, it is a bit of a hassle to go back looking through the ones I'm REALLY interested in!
