Does anyone know where I could donate diapers? I was given tons at my baby shower, but many of them didn't work for my daughter and she outgrew some as well. I know I could probably give them away on Craigslist, but I'd feel better about donating them to a place that really needs them rather then giving them away to some random person. Thanks!!
Hello D.: I am sure you were given great ideas but I want to add another one. I have a firend that has a shelter and storage area near Travis Aif Force Base. She keeps things and makes sure that military families, get what they need. So if you have not done it already please consider this as well. We also have FESCO, in our area that helps families in need.
Also, if yo are thinking of having anothe child someday-- they won't go bad and might be worth keeping!
So feel free to contact me. Nana Glenda
Monument Crisis Center is Concord, and they don't care if the packs are open - that is awesome of you!!!!
You might try to donate to the Bay Area Crisis Nursery. I know that they can always use all the help they can get. They are located in Concord right off Clayton Rd.
You could donate them to a church or a shelter (homeless, half-way house, free dining room, etc...). A daycare center might also take them, or a clinic. My husband's church very often has diapers in various sizes in their nursery - just in case. This has been a great help in case you run out of diapers at church. My mother volunteers at a Free Dining Room in Fremont and they are always looking for ways to help families with children. That's where I plan on donating mine if I have an "overage". I hope this helps! Good luck!!
