It's out of your way, but of all the places we've tried, we love Barking Hound Village. The dogs love it too. They have great service and the dogs are so happy to be there. It's just south of downtown.
anyone know of a great dog boarding place near downtown austin or near 360 or 2222?
Thanks for your help. I'll be checking out the places you've mentioned and if anyone else knows of other places, please let me know. Thanks again! D

When my mom visits, she takes her pooch to Barking Hound Village http://www.barkinghoundvillagetexas.com/austin_index.html
She is super picky about where she keeps her hound!
It is just south of downtown off of Lamar and Barton Springs behind Green Mesquite BBQ on Josephine St.
It's pretty close downtown if you're on the Whole Foods side of town... closer to Lamar
(:
We personally love Hill Country Animal Hospital when boarding our dogs as they actually have a backyard where the dogs can run during the day time so they aren't in a kennel all day. They are a bit more expensive than some other boarding options but well worth the price. My dogs ARE always excited when they realize we're going to HCAH. Tell them C. L. (mom to Chloe & Hudson) sent you.

PS- they are located right at 360 & 2244
I've been using Bed & Biscuit Kennel for years and I love it! In fact, I just picked up our 3 dogs yesterday after being gone for Spring Break. It's on City Park Road just off 2222: ###-###-####
My friend lives on Dry Creek. She trusts the vet next door to her apartment complex to board her precious dog when she has to be out of town. Sorry I don't know the name of the vet but he is on Dry Creek just off of 2222.
we have used Hill Country Animal Hospital for years. Dr. Holcomb is amazing and our dogs have been extremely well cared for. We would not have our pup anywhere else. They are on Bee Cave Rd. ~ not too far from 360.
