Does Your Period Get Thrown off from Being Sick?

Hi Moms,

Right before Christmas, I got sick (was put on Zpak)... I was suppose to get my period, which I did, but for ONE day...... Now, my boobs are killing me (like my periods coming) and I'm constipated (sorry for TMI).....I'm exhausted. Almost like my hormones are all out of whack.. So I'm wondering if my period is coming again.... I'm normally very regular (regular for me- if I had my period on the 25th, the following month I would get it about the 20th, that's normal for me)...
Does anyone's period get really messed up when they've been sick?
PS. I'm not pregnant, I took a test...

What can I do next?

Yes - I think I've been a few days late because of sickness. I am not sure if the sickness made me late or if the meds made me late. But yes. I have started writing down the days when I am sick, so that when I chart my cycle I can more easily predict when my period will be.

YES!! I am the most regular person you could meet. My period has come every 29 days since I was 15. Never any changes. If I get sick, it makes my period so wacky. I got bronchitis a month or so ago. I bled heavily one day, skipped a week, and had my actual period. So weird!!

Nope, - Instead I almost always get sick while on my period. Having it seems to knock down my immune system!

Nope...I can honestly say that a cold, flu, etc., or the meds I'm taking for it have that effect....
