I have not been successful with GE and my washing machine. They offered to pay for the replacement part if I pay for the service, problem is I have ALREADY paid for the part and service once. If I need ANOTHER part then they will pay for that.
Has anyone had any luck with getting anything resolved?

I'm so done with GE. I am trying hard to pay off every loan that company owns. The CEO of that company is a greedy pig that doesn't pay taxes. We need to boycott.
Used to work for them...they never follow through with anything for their employees so I'm not sure why they would with their customers. When they told me (in 1987) that they were beginning to make throw away appliances is when I started looking for another job...All I can tell you is keep yelling. The squeeky wheel gets the grease. Follow up and pester until you get what they promised.

GE is useless. Their appliances are awful. Their techs do nothing. They talk a good talk on Facebook but don't resolve anything.
Hi T., I live near Schenectady NY, so I know LOTS and LOTS of people who work for GE, including my own brother! Unfortunately, here they make turbines, not fridges.
I am not a big fan of GE appliances, even the profile line, I have a new GE fridge, and I HATE it. There's nothing technically WRONG with it, it just sucks.
But personally, I would keep at it, and if they are fixing a part and service they have ALREADY addressed I would be pretty peaved too.

I don't work for GE, but I have GE appliances. I have the profile line that we purchased 4 years ago. I would never recommend GE kitchen appliances. The dishwasher is terrible, We bought it new about 4 years ago and already have had to have it fixed several times and even after getting fixed it still leaves hard sandy substance in my glasses and on my plates. And the wash cycle takes forever.
I have the convection oven and the heat temperature is never right, the fan is always loose and makes a racket until we tighten, but it does not stay tight. The temperature probe does not work. We purchased the oven along with the dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator.
I hate, hate, hate the refrigerator, the temperature reading seems to be right, but my food goes bad really fast, we made the mistake of buying a side by side and there is no room in the refrigerator or freezer. It looked so big in the store.
The microwave is o.k., we only had to have it fixed one time since we bought it 4 years ago!
We purchased the no smudge stainless steel finish - well, it shows all the fingerprints and smudges, I have to clean it constantly.
So, if you find someone who works for GE, if you don't mind, let them know how disappointed I am. Thanks
