My son and I saw a commercial on tv the other day for a play set for kids that has tools, and more interestingly, a simulated wood product that they can actually saw, screw, nail, etc., and make actual projects... My son LOVES working with tools, and he was so excited when he saw that, so I'd like to get him that for Christmas. I hate to buy him things just to have gifts under the tree, so I am happy when I find things like this that actually interest him.
Problem is, I can't find it because I can't remember what it's called. I thought it was something like "Real Wood", so I tried googling it by "real wood," "toy wood," etc. and I can't find it! Any idea what I'm talking about and what it's called?

I think it's called "Real Construction" -- my son wants that too!
I'm not sure if the name but check at Lowe's or a home improvement store near you. The Lowe's in my town has kits for kids to build different things.
There's a store that's called something like "Only on TV." You might try searching variations of that to see if you can find it. I be they'd have this product.

I know for sure Lowes has them. We saw them there the other day and told my husband that would be great Christmas gift for our son.
