Hey Ladies ~

Well I am 3 months postpartum and just totally itching to get back to looking like I used to. I am not quite there yet. I still have a little more weight to shed. I really want to get my hair done!!! However, I am new to the area and need to find an experienced hair stylist to do a cute, trendy cut. I have a photo of what I want done. Does anyone know of someone that fits the description & is reasonably priced??? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Hi T.!

I am a hair dresser that just moved here from Scottsdale, Arizona and I was worried about finding someone who could do a good job on my hair. I found a WONDERFUL person, Cyrilla Dunn. She works at "Blue Mist Salon" 10047 Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree. ###-###-#### She does a great job on my color too!

Good Luck! S.

Hi T.... i'm not aware of any good hair salons in the area, only because i haven't had my hair done it what seems to be forever! But, we live in Castle Rock, i'm 26 years old with 2 children as well. My daughter Jasmine is 3 (June 6, 2003) and my son Nathan, 4 months (March 17, 2006), and i also love to scrapbook, but havent done it in a couple of months, hard to find the time with work and watching two kids when my husband goes to work at night. are you also the one that recommended Kids Dance to me? If so, we signed our daughter up. Feel free to write back!

Hi T.,

I do not do hair, unfortunately, but I know a great hairstylist in Highlands Ranch. Her name is Andy and she works at Cashmere Salon and Day Spa at 9579 Highlands Ranch Blvd. She's pricy, but I've seen her work and it's amazing!
Also, if you're looking for a fresh, new look, I'm an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I would love to give you a free makeover at your earliest convenience!

Thank you,
M.

Hi T.,
I moved here 2 years ago and still miss my hairdresser from IL (I had gone to her for 15 years and she worked out of her house and the prices were very reasonable, not to mention I never had a bad cut). I have found that salons are much more expensive out here and you get what you pay for. Stay clear of the "Cost Cutters", "Smart Style", walk-in $12-15 places. I have had bad luck with them and they charge a fortune for add-ons and do a bad job.
I recently went to the Hair Design Team, located off of Perry Street in the same shopping area as Safeway. Their number is ###-###-####. They offer full salon services as well as some spa services, and while their prices are higher than I was used to, they are quite reasonable for out here. Women's cuts and styles start around $30 and they were very professional and personable. They also have good hours, including some evenings.
Hope this helps and welcome to Castle Rock!
