Yes, ask the company. I suggest formula would never use an animal product in their formula.
I've not heard of pork oil. Bacon grease, yes. Why do you think formula would contain pork oil?
What does the label say?
i don't, but if they don't make a point of saying it's vegan, i would not be comfortable assuming that it's not an animal fat.
but the glycerin is the least of my worries. that is one nasty chemical cocktail.

The liquid Poly-Vi-Sol is kosher and pareve, so there are no meat or dairy products contained in it.

I would try contacting Meade Johnson (it's their product I believe)
From their website:

Ingredients: Glycerin, water, ascorbic acid, ferrous sulfate, vitamin E succinate, niacinamide, polysorbate 80, caramel color, riboflavin-5-phosphate sodium, vitamin A palmitate, thiamin hydrochloride, vitamin D3, vitamin B6 hydrochloride, natural and artificial flavor, sulfuric acid (antioxidant for iron), sulfites.
Is this what you're asking about? The supplement?
I would not give this to my child/infant, but I prefer to not use things with dyes and chemical preservatives. It also doesn't say where they are getting the vitamins from so who knows if they are using an animal or plant. I would think that if it were vegan it would state it somewhere on the package.
