My mom got wax out of her carpet, I'm trying to remember what she used...oh, it was her steam vac. Guess I'm not help! :-( Sorry!
I know that if you iron with a brown paper bag between the cloths and the iron, it will get candle wax out. It might work for crayons too.
I read online that if you wash it in hot water with dawn dish soap it will take out the crayon. According to the website quite a few people used this trick and it worked, I don't have any experience but I hope it helps you.
I recall reading something about taking wax paper and placing it on top of the crayon and ironing over it and it makes the crayon adhere to the wax paper instead of the clothing.
I haven't tried this myself but read it out of a Hints and Help from Heloise book.
Good Luck.
Hi D.,
I would try using a brown paper bag on top of the crayon and a warm iron. The crayon will tranfser and kind of stain the grocery bag. You kind of need to play around with the temp of the iron. Let it cool and do it again and again. Good luck!
