I have the Gulliver crib. I don't see how you could fit a skirt onto it; as someone below already said, I don't think the design allows for it. Nevertheless, it's a purchase I've never regretted--it really is a great crib!
i am going to buy the gulliver crib from ikea, and i was wondering if anyone actually has one. my main concern is the fact that i already got bedding and am curious to know if i can use the skirt on a crib from ikea or not. i read some reviews online which said it was rated in the top 5 cribs.

thanks everyone :)
hmmm...that makes me want a different crib now :( i think cribs look cuter w/the skirt on. i'm guessing there's no way to modify it to make it work. it'd probably require way too much effort. i might just get the gulliver changing table and find a crib somewhere else.
edit: i just did a search on google and found this: http://www.ohdeedoh.com/ohdeedoh/bedding-blankets/another... i think it's a pretty cute idea. if i don't like it, i'm gonna try to figure out a way to use the skirt.
i'm having a boy, and all the other white cribs look too girly. i hate the furniture from walmart because it's so cheap looking and the quality isn't that great.
my bedroom is all ikea furniture and so are the dressers in the baby's room (which i bought before i knew i was pregnant).
i think i'll buy a regular mattress though, because the ikea ones were too thin.

We have the SNIGLAR crib. And I was sad to find that we could not use the CUTE bed skirt that I had. Other than that we LOVE the crib. There are only 2 heights to it, and the taller of the 2 heights is much too tall. We went ahead and put it on the lower one. My son is almost 3 mos now and I am very happy w/ the crib.
I have the LEKSVIK crib from IKEA and love it. I used it for both of my kids. You cannot put a skirt on it and I don't think you will be able to on the Gulliver either because of the design. I use a regular crib mattress and bedding and bumpers as well. Hope this helps.
We also have an IKEA crib (DIKTAD), and I don't think that you'd be able to use the crib skirt on that one either.
