Hello,

Do you know if you can feel your baby's movements in your belly all the way up until delivery.

Just curious, because I feel like the baby will be coming soon but I also feel alot of movement.

Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi V.,

Yes, you definitely can. I had twins and although even a single baby is supposed to run out of room and not move, one of mine kept flipping around (breech, head down, transverse) DAILY all the way up until delivery (I went fullterm). My OB called him a wild card and we had to do a C-section because all his acrobatics made a twin delivery too unpredicatable! Put that child of yours in gymnastics - I did with mine. He is still very flexible. :)

My second one was worse because even though she didn't have room... I could actually SEE her shift inside me... made me nauseous. She's still a kicker. She can't stop moving. :-)

I had my 4th child this past Oct. He was moving in between my contractions on the way to the hospital. He was born 2 hours later! However, with my first he seemed to be taking a nap prior to delivery. It scared me because I thought something was wrong, so I ate sugar pops cereal to wake him up and now I call him "sugar pop" :)

Hi V.,

I felt my son move all the way up until delivery. But as you get further along, the movements aren't as vigorous because the baby has run out of room in the womb!! Congratulations on your new baby coming!

The baby does move until it comes out. My kids moved all the time, it does slow down a bit at the end since room is tight.
