NO IT IS RATHER DULL. get her v TECH GAME. It is more appropiate for a 3 yr old and has many learnig games. ALSO PLAYS LIKE A REAL GAME OF VIDEO BUT MORE FOR THAT AGE BRACKET. AN EXCELLENT LEARNING TOOL!
My mom is looking to get my daughter a fun toy for christmas, she has a million toys especially little people. she plays with them all and is very independent but she would like to get he something electronic. we were thinking the star station but lots of people have said its no so great. I have seen a Vtech Tote & Go Laptop Plus and think it looks pretty cool, but is it really? does anyone? is it fun for the kids? Age appropriate for a 3 year old? does anyone have something similar that their child loves?

That is what I was going to say. My son just turned 3 and I got him the vsmile unit that hooks to the t.v. They have games for ages 3-5 and then higher. He enjoys it and it is educational
My daughter, 3 1/2 has this toy and loves it, makes her feel like a big girl, she will claim she needs to go and do homework or write some emails, it is very cute and age appropriate, we love it!
Mom of 3 yr. old girl, 1 yr. old boy, and new one coming in May!
My son loves his v smile games. I like them to, the games are educational and age appropriate. My son got it when he was 3 but didn't play with it until he was almost 4 (my fault i think i really didn't try it). It started to get cold out so I plugged it in and he has loved it from day one. I even got him 3 more games for it for christmas. I would definitely recomend it. Also there is a new system out that uses a bike to play. My dad got it for my son for christmas and I hope he will like this one also. Saw it in a parenting magazine and I thought it was a great idea, its also educational.
My kids have a Tote & Go Laptop. My 5 year old son likes it more than my 7 year old daughter. It is a good learning toy but it gets annoying after a while. The sound doesn't really turn down quite enough. The other thing the one lady suggested is called a Smart Cycle. I work at WalMart so I see how fast they get sold. I don't know where you buy the cartridges for it though. We only have Fairytopia at the Monroe WalMart. You can try Site to Store.
My kids have never had any of the vtech toys, so I can't speak to those. However, they have all had and love the leap pad stuff. Fridge phonics, fridge farm, etc. were my last daughter's favorite. They are still on the fridge and she learned her sounds with them. She's five and is sounding out big words now. They also all have leap pad for their age.
Hi,
Go to Amazon.com and look at toys that are for your child's age range. When you come to a toy you like, you will find many reviews from parents on the specific toy. Check it out.
Hope that helps.
