Doctor Recommendations

Hi, I was new to the Omaha area (been here 5 years from WI) and needed the same help. I went to Dr June Wedegren and was very unhappy with her. Next I went to Dr Besse (male though) at Lakeside he is wonderful. Also, Dr Ann Sullivan at Lakeside I saw her only once cuz at the time she was pregnant with twins, but she is young and has young children herself and is just really sweet. She is also at Lakeside. I absolutely love my doctor. Her name is Sandra Baumberger and she works for Creighton Medical Associates. She works out of 2 offices. One is downtown at 13th and Leavenworth and the other is in Florence on the north side of town. She is a family physician who has also specialized as a pediatrician and an OBGYN. Sandra is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding. I could call her office or page her whenever I had a question or concern. I had a really risky pregnancy, but she made sure to take every precaution necessary while making me feel confident and at ease. She was great to have in the delivery room, too! And the best part is that she still cares for both me and my daughter. I strongly recommend Dr. Baumberger as your physician!!!!

Kolbeck, Nabity, Bossert and Simmons is an excellent OB/GYN group. My doctor is Dr. Bossert and I just love him to pieces! Dr. Nabity delivered my son and I really liked him too. Dr. Simmons is a woman and very nice. I have spoken to her when she was on-call one time and I had a question about my pregnancy. The entire group,including the nurses, have a real "team" oriented mentality. I would go to any of them and feel confident I was getting quality care for myself and my unborn child.

Welcome to Omaha! I really like Boystown Pediatrics - all of their doctors have been wonderful. We see Dr. Sprague by Lakeside and love him - he has 2 female doctors in his practice and both are wonderful.

I've been going to Omaha OB/GYN they have offices at Lakeside and in the Doctor buildings at NE Medical Center. I've been seeing Dr. Clemmer, but I don't think she's doing the OB anymore - I've heard great things about her partner Dr. Collins.

I would recomend Dr. Erin Evans. I was new to the area and she was awesome and knew what she was talking about. She also takes the time to listen. She is through alegent health and is located near s. 81st and center.

S., my OB/GYN is a male, so I guess you're not interested in him. But I will tell you to avoid Dr. Kathleen Norton AT ALL COSTS. If you want details, let me know, but do NOT let this woman near your lady parts!

I have enjoyed Dr. Bossert (male) by Lakeside. I have interacted with Dr Simmons a couple of times and she was on call the weekend our daughter was born. She was really nice at the hospital and in the office when I saw her there. The whole office is wonderful!!
