Doctor Agreeable to Seeing Non-vaccinated Kids...

I just wrote a long responce but when I clicked "send" it was deleted so this will be the short version b/c I gotta get back to cooking!

Randy Eaton - Nurse Practitioner at Midwest Family Care, Olathe. He is under Dr. Darrin Davis. Inbetween 135th and 127th on Mur-Len. ###-###-####
-he believes very firmly that it is the parents choice!
-he listens to me
-does not lecture!
-I refered another mamasource mom recently and had the same experience:o)

Also, Dr. Clarke is an excellent chiropractor! He is 138th and Mur-Len. My older son spent most of his life either at the doc office or in the hospital until we started seeing him. Now it is very rare that he gets sick and if he does, it is very mild. ###-###-#### (Dr. Clarke also gives lectures on not vaccinating) He takes most insurances and will recommend stuff from the health food stores if you let him:o)

We also do not vaccinate---I have three children. We also seek out alternative care. I will list below our coventional doc who we rarely see but is very nice and is fine with not vaccinating. He is also very supportive of baby-wearing, co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding. He takes insurances. Also, I will list our chiropractor who is really our family doctor. We go see them when we are sick for treatment ie., adjustments, kinesiology, supplements, herbs, acupuncture, homeopathy. It is a husband/wife team with four children of their own. They also take many insurances and they always know how to get us "well" if we are sick---which rarely happens anyway. They do not vaccinate their children either.

I dont know of any doctors but I just wanted to say good for you. I didnt have the info I have now when my kids were little or I would have made the same. I do know I wont be as willing to vaccinate with my grandchildren. There is a web site you might find helpful info on and it is www.herbalhealer.com. Good luck.

I refer my patients to two doctors, and have never had a complaint. Not only are they willing to work with you on "alternate" vaccination schedules (we don't vax either), but they will not give you grief about it at all.

The only catch is that they are in Overland Park/Olathe. A bit of a trek for you, but if you're only going for routine check-ups....
