I'am having my second child and I would like to find a new doctor for this pregnancy. I was wondering if anyone had any good advise towards a good local doctor.

I was absolutely THRILLED with Dr. Richard Murray. He's in Ft. Myers by Health Park, so it's quite a hike from the Cape, but WELL worth it! I have felt in great hands for the past 5 years with him!
Mom to 5 here. Oldest is turning 19 and my youngest is turning 3.
I had Dr. Pescitelli for my son 6 years ago and he was fine. Funny, casual.
Then when I was pregnant with my littlest one I had to switch and chose Dr. Kovaz. He is the best best best!!! And I have had a different dr.'s with all 5 of mine due to moving.
He is calm, centered, no question is considered stupid or unnecessary. I like the staff, I like the office and they even give you a folder to carry around with all your medical info.
I really cant say enough about his practice. It is a feeling you just cant describe, just experience. I felt so safe and secure with the whole pregnancy and it was the worst one I had.
My sister-in-law had all 4 of her boys with Dr. Kovaz also.
When my oldest daughter found out she was expecting of course I recommended Dr. Kovaz. She was terrified of Dr.'s and hated all things medical. I said try him and if you are still not reassured switch. Well, she thinks he is awesome and right away made her feel comfortable and reassured. She looks forward to her appointments and it has changed her entire view. She said he made her feel like it was an event of happiness approaching and not such a cold medical type visit.
I recommend Dr. Kovaz for all issues OBGYN. He practices in the Cape and Fort Myers and has hospital privileges at all hospitals. His number is ####-###-####
